Zero Waste Club Biodegradable Sponge
Normal kitchen sponges are made from polyester & nylon which are both plastics & not recyclable at their end of life. Small pieces fall off on almost every wash, washing straight down our drains & into our water systems. These microplastics stay in the ocean forever, either being digest by marine life or being drank by humans. Microplastics are already in our water system, lets stop this madness.
These natural sponges are made from cellulose & have no plastic in them making them completely biodegradable at their end of life. They will last longer than your normal plastic kitchen sponges so it's a win win for you & defiantly the environment. They are sold in packs of two. Zero Waste Club also plant a tree for each pack sold.
